The Day
Nothing out of the ordinary at work today. A lot of items on my plate now and the clock has begun to tick for the latest project, unfortunately at the same time as another self inflicted project (I need to be less agreeable) which I volunteered myself for before the bigger project came up (about an hour before, just my luck).
Made CNC for the girls and I for dinner (we know what that means...) after a late change with the pork chops not being thawed yet (they will wait until tomorrow). After dinner I couldn't take the headache much more so I laid down and that has pretty much been my day.
Post write up yesterday there was an interesting occurrence. I was walking the dogs last night before Chris and Kayla came back from Kayla's dance class and I heard rustling in the leaves in the woods near the house. I didn't have the flashlight but my guess was deer and the dogs started barking that direction so I took them around the other side to be less distracted. Shortly after going inside Chris and Kay got home and said they saw a family of deer out near the road, must have been what we heard. Just wish I had the flashlight to see over there, usually do but forgot it this time. Have seen several deer in that section of the woods when out with the dogs (when just Ceelo he doesn't bark but Tabby gets him going if she is out).
Day 4 of No Soda! Had gained a little since the start of the year but back to where I started now.
Time to settle in and watch a DVR'd episode of Elementary as I wait for a midnight meeting before I can get some sleep. TGTIF (Thank God Tomorrow Is Friday)!!!
