The Day
COLD...COLD...COLD
Barely got out of single digit temps today and wind chill was double digits below zero. I held up in the house most of the day and did a little work from home. All while manning the wood stove to keep the fire going.
Sadly the fire still barely kept up with the cold. We seriously have to look into improving the insulation in this house by next winter. Hopefully this year will be a year of project that we want to do and not emergency crap like last year... and the previous half year.
Other than the cold, nothing really stands out for the day. This weather does have me looking forward to my Vegas trip in a couple weeks, though it won't be very warm it will at least be warmer than here (I hope). I did plan that out well enough so that I will get into Vegas on that Sunday morning so I will have the day to relax before having to work on Monday. That should get me through the migraine day (any more I get nasty migraine headaches if I am on a plane for more than a couple hours).
